Simply Circuits is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity aerobics. A Simply Circuit class typically consists of multiple contrasting exercises known as stations. Classes are led by a trained instructor who will provide support and motivation to help you get round the circuit.
A Circuit comprises of six to ten strength exercises that are completed one after another. Each exercise is performed for a specified number of repetitions or for a set time before moving on to the next exercise. The exercises within each circuit are separated by a short rest period and each completed circuit is separated by a longer rest period.
The total number of circuits performed during a training session may vary from two to six depending on your training level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced), your period of training (preparation or competition) and your training objective.
Everyone begins at a station (a place where your exercise is done), and when your instructor yells “Time!” everyone moves to the next free station.
